IC Computer Labs

Student Jobs

IC is always looking for outgoing and dedicated student employees to fill a number of student staff positions. To apply for any of the following positions, please return an application with a copy of your resume to the IC Office in Phelps 1517.

Consultants
Every quarter many new students are hired to work as computer consultants. Consultants supervise and answer questions in our six instructional computer labs and six remote labs around campus. Consultants are required to work at least 12 hours per week; hours are flexible and work well around student class schedules. If you are the type of person who is eager to learn, becoming an IC consultant is excellent preparation for a future job in the computer field. If you already have computer experience and are simply looking for a resume builder, IC offers many paid consultant training workshops for highly motivated employees. Pick up a copy of the consultant application from the IC Office at Phelps 1517 or download the editable PDF version and return a printed copy to us.

Other Positions
Once an IC employee, there is a great deal of room for advancement; positions such as Senior Consultant, Faculty Liaison, System Administrator, Operations Assistant or Instructional Computing Engineering Group Technician provide a wide range of fields to pursue.
